Mesalamine/Mesalazine is an aminosalicylate anti-inflammatory drug that is also used to prevent the recurrence of ulcerative colitis symptoms such as stomach pain, diarrhea, and rectal bleeding. Besides, it is indicated for the maintenance of remission of ulcerative colitis.
