Minocycline is a Tetracycline Antibiotic. This is highly effective in curing a wide range of bacterial infections. This includes respiratory tract infections, skin infections, severe acne, tick fever, chlamydia, urinary tract infections, gonorrhea and others. It works by stemming bacterial growth. This apart, your physician might use it to treat other medical conditions too.

Minocycline Side Effects

Minocycline might have some side effects but it’s not possible to anticipate them. It does not have any major side effects and the minor ones that may occur are temporary. In rare cases, there might be major side effects and immediate medical attention must be sought.
