What is Exemestane 25mg used for?
Exemestane 25mg is used to treat early and advanced breast cancer in the postmenopausal women who have been already treated with a cancer medication called tamoxifen for 2 to 3 years.
Exemestane is also used to help prevent the recurrence of breast cancer. Exemestane is indicated for the treatment of hormone-receptor-positive breast cancer and not used to treat the breast cancer that is not hormone sensitive. Exemestane is not recommended for use in children.
